One of our favorite ways to work with clients is to take several of their existing pieces and do design refreshes that bring their current spaces to life and add in that layered, lived in aesthetic that we love to create for every project! This family had us do a full refresh on their downstairs common spaces including the entry hall, study, living, dining & kitchen and then chose to later add on a refresh of their daughter's bedroom. By keeping a handful of their existing furniture pieces and adding new lighting fixtures, furniture, wall art and decor throughout, we were able to not only create a cohesive style to their home but bring in that elevated, moody aesthetic they ultimately wanted but weren't sure how to articulate or do themselves. For their pre-teen daughter's room, we took a blank canvas and an existing bed & dresser and brought in all of the fun, boho accent vibes to give her the space she wants now and the room to grow later. A few of our favorite finds for this project were the textured jute rug in the study, the very real looking faux olive tree for their low natural light dining room and the boho wall collage we were able to create for under $10!
