When Betsy & Gentry Mikesell reached out to us to furnish their beautiful new Tennessee home, we were so excited to bring their vision to life! One thing we love about the Mikesells is their willingness to trust the process and be just as excited about the overall design as we are! We loved taking this existing home from blank slate to fully furnished in (almost) record time for their family as they moved in with zero furniture! By taking notes of Betsy's love for all things horses and their shared love for travel, family & home, we were able to design & furnish every room in the home for them in what we've dubbed the new 'modern ranch' aesthetic. You'll be able to find the product links for nearly everything from this five bedroom home on our Finds Journal as we continue to upload new view of the home there! A few of our favorite finds along the way though include the vintage 19th century Belgian leather dining chairs that were the kickoff to our design process and the Mikesell's very first vintage furniture ever! Every piece of artwork in this space was hand selected and intentionally chosen, along with the smallest details including the horse shoes placed over the doors for good luck. Also the beautiful slate blue rug in the master bedroom space still has our heart! So many beautiful aspects of this project and an absolute joy to work with the entire Mikesell family!
